Hi, I have been off college now for 6 weeks and have got another 6 to go. I don't like it. I was okay for the first six weeks but now I am getting bored. Does anyone else get long breaks from school or anything. I am from Scotland in the UK.
Wow. 12 weeks off from school? Most of summer vacations in the summer in the US is 8 or 9 weeks long. I'm taking a few college classes right now, which shortened my vacation.
Since i started college, i never had a long vacation until this summer came. I really enjoyed this summer. I was given so many time to waste which was very nice. It's great i had time to read more books, go to parties, meet new cool people, and do things that i can't do on a regular semester like swiming and going to the mall longer than the usual. i really love having those long vacations
My longest one is summer, and I plan things for the summer. I plan to take a class this year, and in previous years I go to this blind camp. I don’t know if anyone has heard of camp Bloomfield. One year, I went out of the country and traveled to China alone, which everyone marveled at.
i've been off since december, and going back in march.

To the original poster, i know what you mean! I used to hate coming home from Austin during long vacations! Supposedly it's to "spend time with your family", and at first it's all jolly good because you dont have to do anything, and you get to sleep in! But then I get really borred and exasperated, and I dont know how I get time to speed up for me! Lol! Now, at least there's the computer and the phone, otherwise I think I'd be borred out of my mind right now! Lol!

Yeah, the computer usually keeps me busy, but I also have a massive amount of tapes, they are all stacked up on my desk here, so I might also take this summer to read them.
